The Pioneer Merino Beanie

Handknit in Bend, Oregon from 100% American Merino wool. The Pioneer Beanie is the last hat you'll ever need — warm without bulk, beautiful without trying.
Full Review Body:
The Brand Summit & Stitch Co. was started in 2018 by two sisters from Bend, Oregon who grew up hiking the Cascades and couldn't find a beanie made in America that was worth wearing off the trail. They source their Merino wool from a family ranch in Montana and knit every piece in their Bend studio.
The Fit One size fits most with just enough stretch to sit comfortably without sliding. Hits just above the ears for a classic look or fold it up for a slouchy fit. Lightweight enough to stuff in a jacket pocket without the bulk.
The Wool 100% American Merino from Montana — naturally temperature regulating so it keeps you warm in the cold without overheating indoors. Soft enough to wear directly against skin with zero itch. Machine washable on gentle cold.
The Details Available in eight colorways — Charcoal, Oatmeal, Navy, Forest, Rust, Blush, Cream, and Slate. A small hand-stitched Summit & Stitch label inside the brim is the only branding. No logos. No corporate nonsense. Just a beautiful American-made hat.
Three Winters Later We've worn this beanie skiing in Colorado, walking in Chicago in January, and on early morning runs in November. It has been washed more times than we can count. It looks exactly the same as the day we bought it.
The Verdict $58 for a beanie feels like a stretch until you've thrown away your third $18 imported one in two years. The Pioneer pays for itself by the second winter and keeps paying dividends from there.
Who this is for: Any woman who wants one perfect hat that works everywhere from the ski slope to the grocery store.
